Tear Trough Filler
Tear trough refers to the area directly under your eye and above your cheek. This area can be prone to volume loss resulting in dark shallow circles (tear troughs) under the eye that for some people are permanently present. This condition can be confused with tiredness or eye bags. Tear troughs are visible due to a loss of fatty tissue and very fine skin.
Adding small amounts of dermal filler to this area will bring back the lost volume, raising the skin and therefore reducing that dark appearance. Dermal filler contains Hyaluronic acid, this is responsible for our skins natural hydration. The benefit also of adding filler to this area is that it can help reduce the fine lines and wrinkles. It will help to improve the quality of the skin by stimulating collagen production in the area, resulting in thicker stronger skin.
Dermal filler will be injected into the tear trough area using a soft cannula. This is a painless safe method of injection. The results should last 9-12 months, every individual is different and so the length varies person to person.
Not everyone is suitable for this treatment so a pre consultation will be needed before hand.
